How far would you go to try for an invite to join U2 on stage?

Patrick Stark is a Canadian filmmaker, who is in Seattle this Friday shooting some scenes for his latest project, One Life: No Regrets.

Patrick has always wanted to sing in a rock band, in front of a sold out stadium. That’s his dream. Two problems:

1) Patrick doesn’t sing very well

2) Patrick is TERRIFIED of singing in front of other people

This conundrum spawned a larger question, and a film. One Life: No Regrets, an upcoming documentary by Stark, examines the question: “What if you DID NOT let your fears stand in the way of doing what you really wanted to do?” For Patrick, that meant getting vocal lessons, singing with street performers and staging public concerts – two such concerts will take place in Seattle on Friday.

Patrick will be singing U2 hits on a flatbed truck this Friday in the hopes of being invited by the band to join them on stage.
