King Street Station Multimodal Hub Study

The Alliance for Pioneer Square is hosting SDOT to learn about the study and hear your ideas. SDOT is gathering feedback from January-March from area stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to give your ideas for how to improve the public realm, transportation infrastructure, pedestrian and bike facilities, other ROW uses, and identify potential projects.

King Street Station is one of three Center City Multimodal Transportation Hubs and covers two distinct neighborhoods, Chinatown/International District and Pioneer Square. The dispersed nature of the study area and facilities is a challenge to the development of an efficient and cohesive Hub strategy that is an amenity for local residents and daily visitors.

The King Street Station Multimodal Hub Study will plan for 2016 and 2030 timelines, which includes conceptual design plans and identifying preliminary projects.  SDOT will work with stakeholders to develop a preferred hub plan that will be the focus of the final document.

When: Monday, March 7th, 4:00-5:00pm
Where: Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Museum (319 2nd Ave S)
RSVP: liz@pioneersquare.org
