11-11-11: What are YOU going to do? Sing the BLUES for Veterans! (PI – Sassy City Girl)
If you’re looking for a feel-good way to spend 11-11-11 in Seattle, but still want to have a great time, here’s a fun event that just hit my desk that’s got Win-Win written all over it. The Veteran’s Day Blues Festival.
It’s being held in Pioneer Square, everyone’s favorite spot for Seattle Blues, for a cause that we all want to support….our Veterans!

Wanted felon arrested in punching of Seattle cop (PI – Seattle 911)
Police arrested a man outside a Pioneer Square club early Friday morning after he allegedly punched a Seattle officer in the face.

At Pioneer Square Beach, the goal is the restoration of Washington Street boat landing, with a beached tugboat as interpretative feature. “It’s a place, programmatically, to come and touch the water, to fish, to beachcomb, to see what the tides bring in,” mused Corner. There would also be concessions, maybe a diner, because, you know, you get hungry and you don’t always catch fish.
