Seattle City Council to honor Dave Niehaus before Mariners home opener

Join Seattle City Councilmembers as they honor Dave Niehaus in a pre-game ceremony on Friday, April 8 at 4 p.m. before the Seattle Mariners home opener. On behalf of City Council, Councilmember Harrell will officially proclaim April 8, 2011 as “‘My Oh My’ Dave Niehaus Day” and Councilmember Clark will unveil honorary street signs, renaming a portion of 1st Avenue South to Dave Niehaus Way South.

WHO: Seattle City Councilmembers Clark, Harrell, Bagshaw, Conlin, and Godden, Marilyn Niehaus, Andy Niehaus, Greta Niehaus Dunn, and the Mariner Moose
