Stimulate Dance’s Free “Open Air Performance Series” Sept 8-11

Seattle Parks and Recreation ARTSPARKS Program is presenting free lunchtime dance-theater performances by Stimulate Dance Wednesday through Saturday (September 8, 9, 10, and 11) in Occidental Park.

Shows:
Wed – Fri: 12pm-1pm
Saturday: 1-2 pm

The performances include a photography exhibit, interactive artistic explorations, dance, music, theater, and cake. Performed by Channing Daniel, Annie Hewlett, Laurence Hughes, Emma Klein, Morgan Nutt, and Allegra Searle-LeBel.

Stimulate Dance is a recipient of a 2010 ArtSparks grant as well as a 2010 4Culture Group Art Projects grant for their Open Air Performance Series.  These playful, interactive shows in public spaces are designed to enliven everyday spaces and to increase engagement with dance as part of our daily lives.
