Susan G. Komen 3-day for the Cure this Friday

On Friday, September 16, 2011, CenturyLink field will become a sea of pink with the participants for the 2011 Susan G. Komen Seattle 3-Day for the Cure.

The Opening ceremonies will begin at 6:30am. The walkers will start their three-day, sixty-mile journey at 7am. They’ll start out walking through the Pioneer Square neighborhood and head toward the International District before going eastward using the I-90 trail system.

Residents in the area should expect to see an increase in vehicle traffic on Friday morning between 5am-6:30am. Pedestrian traffic will increase between 7am- 8:15am.
