Public Safety Meeting 5:30 pm today

And here is chance number 2 this week for becoming more involved in the neighborhood. This meeting promises food, yelling, complaining, maybe even a fist fight — you never know with Pioneer Square!

Just kidding — but if it makes you want to come, keep believing that it might happen. One of the meetings the husband went to had actually had yelling and I was really disappointed that I missed it. These meetings are really excellent, though, and give everyone a chance to voice their opinions about how to make P2 a safer, more enjoyable place to live.

Everyone is more than welcome to come to these meetings, and to accommodate more people, they have moved the meeting from mid-day to after work. So please help show them they made the right decision by making your way down to the Smith Tower (the entrance is on the Yesler side).

From PSCA’s email:
“All who want to improve the quality of life in Pioneer Square are invited to attend a planning meeting for the 2010 Work Plan for the Pioneer Square Safety Committee.

By working together to address safety concerns, we CAN make a difference.  We need your input and participation!”

Thursday, November 12 ,2009
5:30 – 6:30 PM
202 Yesler Way, Suite B

These meetings and events are also always listed on the events calendar on the main page. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

p.s. I was working late, but the Husband went to the (insert long acronym) meeting last night and said it was great. He is actually writing a post about it as opposed to making me do all of the work on this blog (don’t tell him I said that).
