Art Walk Returns August 5

Pioneer Square’s First Thursday Art Walk returns this week, Thursday, August 5th. WOOHOO!

New to PS? What’s an Art Walk?? Picture yourself leisurely roaming our sidewalks, wandering gallery to gallery, popping in on amazing art exhibits, meeting artists, around most every corner. It’s what we do here.

Need free parking? The Alliance for Pioneer Square’s free parking program returns too! Free parking (first come-first served basis) will be available from 5pm to 10pm on Thursday, August 5th at the Frye Garage (117 3rd Ave S) and Butler Garage (114 James Street)

Seattle’s Deconstructed Art Fair also starts August 5th and runs through the end of August. This is a collaborative event of our gallery community. It was devised in response to the cancellation of the much anticipated 2020 Seattle Art Fair due to COVID.  Leading galleries in Seattle’s Pioneer Square, Georgetown, Capitol Hill and Downtown neighborhoods, as well as galleries in Kirkland, Whidbey Island and Edison, WA will all be showcasing and making available for sale the best art the PNW has to offer. The SDAF is a hybrid of online virtual exhibitions with in-person offerings.

Not ready to go out yet my friend? They have groovy on-line offerings. Yes, something for everyone.
