First Thursday Events

There are so many things to do around Seattle on First Thursday. (If you need ideas, click here). Besides the art walk and the vendors set up in Pioneer Square, there are two events going on tonight that you don’t want to miss.

One is the 30×30 Forgotten Works Challenge — it features 50 artists who completed 30 works of art in 30 days. The best part? Each is selling for only $40. Great Christmas presents for anyone on your list. It will be at the Tashiro Kaplan Building, 115 Prefontaine Place, Lobby Gallery, 5-9 pm.

The second is the Nord Alley Party hosted by the Nord Building, the International Sustainability Institute, Feet First, Bonneville Environmental Foundation, NBIS and CleanScapes. It is a good opportunity to meet the community of people and organizations at the Nord Building, and join neighborhood friends and colleagues in celebration of livable-walkable neighborhoods. It will be behind 314 1st Avenue South (between Main and Jackson), 5-9 pm.
