Chocolate Store Supports US Troops and their Families

If you’re looking for a guilt-free reason to buy a pound of what my family fondly calls “pudge,” look no further:

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory stores in downtown Seattle are running a “Fudge for Troops” promotion through the month of November to benefit USO-Puget Sound Area.

Beginning November 1, 2010 customers who purchase one pound of fudge in-store, will have an additional one pound of fudge donated to the USO-PSA to be served in their hospitality area for families and troops, as well as given to local troops.

“Our troops and their families give so much everyday, we wanted to give something back, to let them know how much we appreciate all that they do,” commented Sandi Fein, owner of the two Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory stores located near Pike Place Market at 1419 First Avenue, and in Pioneer Square at 99 Yesler Way.

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a franchise, gourmet chocolate store specializing in handmade chocolates, 20 varieties of decadent caramel apples, dipped strawberries, creamy fudge made daily, and specialty gifting.
