28 Apr Window Murals

We have an update on some of the mural work being done throughout PS. The residents now have enough to purchase 8 murals in total, all employing local PS artists. We have had several donations come in pushing our funded 5 to a total of now 8 murals. Shout out to RaNae Vodder who created a FB page for donations:   

Shout out to those who wanted to remain anonymous who handed me money (from 6 feet away), who slipped money under my door, and who left me checks held down by a rock on my business doorstep. (true story) YOU know who you are and we thank you! More art in our future, more money to local artists. ($1000 per mural)

This is our 1st mural: at the Buttnick Building on the corner of 1st Ave S and S. Washington, down the Washington side of the street. Thanks for all the cool ideas of “what will we do with the murals when we take them down?” We are noting all ideas and sending them to the Alliance.
